Following the launch of Oasis Knebworth 1996 earlier this year, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher tell us about the highs and lows of being in one of the biggest bands in the world in a new book: Supersonic.
Came out alongside Headline Publishing Group and written by Simon Halfon, Supersonic is a curation of first-hand experiences from the Gallagher Brothers covering pivotal moments in the band’s history. From the day Noel joined Liam’s band to the landmark concerts in Knebworth Park, the book documents the story behind Oasis’ success, alongside exclusive, never-before-seen footage.
To celebrate the launch, adidas Originals held an event around the Oasis Supersonic book at the brand’s Carnaby Street store. Renowned Manchester music photographer Kevin Cummins was joined by band mates and adidas enthusiasts to view Oasis images and memorabilia in the store, before a carefully selected set of DJ Art Chetcuti and tote bags. all 1/70 that included a collector’s edition of the book. , a special edition jacket and a poster with a disc cover were offered.
