CAIRO – November 22, 2021: The General Egyptian Book Organization is preparing to launch the first Madinaty Book Fair, which is scheduled to launch on November 30.
The book fair will be launched with the participation of several publishing houses and various sectors of the Ministry of Culture.
The General Egyptian Book Organization will participate, offering discounts on various publications, to encourage young people to read and buy different books.
Madinaty Book Fair is the new step of the Egyptian General Book Organization towards organizing exhibitions in new cities, with the aim of achieving cultural justice, disseminating knowledge and providing books to all citizens, regardless of their location.
It should be noted that the General Egyptian Book Organization is preparing for the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair, which should be held at the end of January 2022.
Egyptian Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem announced the extension until November 25 of the deadline for the submission of applications from publishers to participate in the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair.
The 53rd Cairo International Book Fair will be launched on January 26 and run until February 6, 2022, at the Egyptian Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences in the Fifth Colony. Greece will be the guest of honor.
