The annual book fair now has a permanent virtual location on Lazada!
If you’ve been a part of the #BigBadBudolClub for a while now, have these shopping carts ready online as the Malaysian Big Bad Wolf Book Fair is back in the country on a permanent basis through its first online store on Lazada.
Unfortunately, the annual book fair will again skip another in-person event this year due to the pandemic, but BBW is committed to delivering the same titles to their Filipino customers via nationwide delivery through LazMall. Since orders will already be processed through Lazada’s warehouse, customers will no longer have to wait that long for international shipping.
BBW’s flagship store, Lazada, is open 24/7 from late November and will offer more than 25,000 titles by December 12 (there are currently 20,000 available online). Customers can expect flash deals and discounts on four hour slots.
Avid readers can expect the same wide variety as the book fair’s physical selection, ranging from books for children, young adults and adults. You can browse several subcategories in BBW’s Fiction category, as well as the Non-Fiction category, which is home to genres such as history, art, politics, biography, health, auto. assistance, cuisine, religion, architecture, etc. You can also find coffee books, photography books, journals, and diaries, as well as comics, graphic novels, and puzzles.
Since BBW’s first online sale in June, BBW has seen a significantly higher demand for children’s books in the Philippines, resulting in the widest selection of children’s books available, ranging from textbooks to picture books and books. activity books.
Please note: Lazada’s prices are the same as the actual BBW fair prices. BBW’s prices are relatively cheaper than most bookstores, as the book fair doesn’t have many of the latest releases. You can usually find books that were released at least six months or a year ago.
BBW launched its first online sale in the Philippines from June 30 to July 12, offering more than 60,000 titles. This was the first virtual edition of the show since their first physical event in 2018 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
