Book launch at Wicklow Golf Club will include art and photography exhibits

IRISH Book Corner will host the launch of author Tricia Holbrook’s ‘Secret Lives Hurt’ at Wicklow Golf Club, where guests can also enjoy an exhibition of photography and art by local artists.

‘Secret Lives Hurt’ follows Tricia’s ‘Irish Coco’ and she will be present at the launch to sign the copies. She will also read a short excerpt from the novel. Chips will also be available for purchase and refreshments will be served in the evening.

A photography exhibition will feature the work of Kate Amber, who is the author of Ireland’s Whiskey Guide. She is also a photographer and owner of the Irish Book Corner platform. She has lived in Wicklow for nine years and supports freelance writers by publishing and promoting their books through Irish Book Corner.

Wicklow-based artist and textile enthusiast Nicola Fault will also hold an exhibition on the night. Nicola was a shortlisted artist at this year’s Signal Art Center Open Exhibition 2021 in Bray. Nicola teaches knitting, art and bookbinding to adults and children.

The book launch and exhibition takes place at Wicklow Golf Club on Friday, November 19 from 7 p.m.
