Former English teacher turned author James McEnaney will return to the school where he began his career to talk about his new book Class Rules: The Truth About Scottish Schools.

Lamlash’s Arran High School will be the location where tomorrow (Saturday) at 12:30 p.m. James talks about his book, answers questions from the audience, and talks about the vital role Arran played in his writing.

The book covers 20 years of education policy, the SQA 2020-2021 scandal and the complexities of the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), as well as a number of solutions to address the issues encountered.

James is a leading commentator on issues affecting Scottish education and his book has been well received by education experts, peers and those interested in the Scottish education system.

Participation in the event is free and those who wish to reserve a space can do so by visiting //www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/class-rules-book-launch-tickets-196397890377
