Mir Nawbut Ali, Marketing Director of bKash, said, “The book fair is for all ages and we can understand that it’s not just a fair, it’s a festival full of life. Many people come to the book fair and buy books for their children. bKash has taken the initiative to donate books so that underprivileged children can obtain a variety of books and expand their world of imagination, just like your own child.
“Additionally, to increase the joy of buying books for all readers, there is a cashback offer of up to 150 Taka up to 10% through bKash payment.”
Saad Bin Sattar of the Obhizatrik Foundation said, “Over the past two years, we have observed how the ability to read a variety of books in a library can change and broaden children’s minds. Underprivileged children might regularly read books from the library, especially when they were at home during the pandemic. Through bKash’s initiative, we hope we can deepen this collaboration by donating books to people from all walks of life.
Also this year, bKash is the sponsor of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair.
Also, as in past years, customers will receive a maximum cashback of Tk 150 up to 10% when purchasing books through bKash payment.
Every day, 10 customers who make the most bKash payments receive rewards ranging from 200 to 1,000 Tk.
In addition to providing drinking water and wheelchairs for visitors, bKash organized a puppet show to entertain children inside the fair premises. Seating arrangements for readers, authors and visitors were also made by bKash so that people could sit down to relax when needed.
