A total of 18 new books hit the shelves of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair on the second day of the fair from February 15.
A discussion on the country’s Golden Jubilee of Independence took place on the main stage of the fair at 4pm today, according to a press release.
Chaired by HN Ashiqur Rahman, MP, the discussion was addressed by Poet General Mohammad Nurul Huda, Director General of Bangla Academy, Professor Maksud Kamal and Writer Faruq Moinuddin, among others.
Subhash Chandra Roy presented an essay on this occasion.
