  3. We may have a few hot days in early June and the air “may feel warm”, but meteorologists say ocean water temperatures are still cold. Monday was an exceptionally hot day, but the water temperature was 54 degrees. Local surfers, if you plan to go into cold ocean water, Surf Forecast.com advises wearing “a good quality spring wetsuit and possibly a neoprene balaclava, gloves and boots”. (Surf forecast)
